Your files are yours.
We don't keep or look at your files, and we don't share them with advertisers or data brokers.
Your files have one destination: the computer you chose.
We don't build a library of your files.
BloopDING is designed to deliver your files — not collect them. Our server does not keep copies of your files.
The information required to complete a transfer exists only as long as necessary to deliver your file. Separately, our server keeps a technical record of each transfer, described below.
If your browser can't save straight into a folder you chose (for example Firefox or Safari, or Chrome or Edge before you choose a folder), the BloopDING page hands each file to your browser's Downloads and keeps a temporary copy in this site's storage in your browser, on your computer. Those copies, and the pieces of any transfer that didn't finish, are removed the next time you open the BloopDING receiver in that browser once they are more than an hour old, or when you clear this site's data.
We don't connect transfer statistics to your identity.
We do not use advertising trackers, we do not fingerprint visitors, we do not build personal profiles, and we do not sell personal information.
We do not set advertising or tracking cookies, and we never look at who you are or what's inside your files.
What our transfer log keeps.
Our server keeps a technical log of each transfer so we can keep BloopDING working: when it happened, how many files and how large they were, how the connection was made, the type of phone (for example "Android"), the short codes shown on screen, and, if you choose a folder to save into, that folder's name (just its name, not where it is on your computer). It never includes file names or file contents. These logs are kept on our own server and are not currently deleted automatically.
When a computer successfully receives a file, the log also notes a random identifier for that browser. Your browser creates it the first time you open the BloopDING receiver and keeps it in this site's local storage — not in a cookie. It is a random string, not based on your device, your name, or anything about you, and we don't connect it to your name, email address, or IP address.
We use it for one thing: counting how many different browsers have received files. Our internal dashboard keeps only a scrambled (salted, one-way hashed) form of it. It isn't used for advertising and isn't shared.
It stays in your browser until you clear this site's data. A different browser, a private window, or clearing site data starts a new one, so we count browsers, not people. If your browser blocks storage, BloopDING works exactly the same and no identifier is created.
We believe in transparency.
If we ever change how BloopDING handles data, we'll explain it in plain English. No confusing legal language. No hidden surprises.
